These cute mini frames with animal ears can be bought individually or as a set.
 
They are made from raw pine/poplar wood & some frames will be slightly darker than others according to natural wood variation. Some may also display some darker areas from the laser cutting process. They can be left untreated or can be stained/painted.
 
The internal dimensions are approx 1.2 inch & overall size approx 1.8 inch excluding ears but please allow a little tolerance as they are cut individually.
 
To secure your stitching use one of the back plates as the "inside" part of the hoop & then cover the overhanging fabric edges by inserting the second back plate on top. It is advisable to use an adhesive to secure the second back plate firmly.
 
These are perfect for turning into small hanging decorations, keyrings or jewellery using the pre-drilled top hole & you can fit a surprising amount of detail inside the small area if you stitch over 1 on highercount evenweaves or linen.
